2026 Preservation Awards Honorees!

Annually Greater Portland Landmarks presents Preservation Awards to people, projects, policies, and programs that exemplify the array of benefits of historic preservation and connecting with the history of Portland.

From storytellers to tradespeople, contextual new construction to caring restoration, innovative educational tools to insightful research, we welcome awards nominations for any initiative that furthers our goals of protecting place, sharing full histories, and proactively advocating for greater Portland’s historic character.

This year we are delighted by the diverse representation of the ways historic preservation can serve our community. From depicting a community-altering fire through song to traditional construction to creating housing to visually representing what makes Portland special, historic preservation in its many forms continues to show the ways it benefits greater Portland.

Continue to watch this page as we announce our Preservation Awards event details in the coming weeks. This special fall evening will provide an opportunity to come together in celebration of these winners and their enormous impacts.
