An exciting holiday tradition returns for another year!

Join Greater Portland Landmarks and the Portland Observatory staff and docents for a one of a kind experience! Encapsulate the wonder of the holiday season by stepping back in time for a lantern-light guided tour to the top of the Portland Observatory.

Along the way, you and your group will stop on two floors to enjoy a brief holiday story. At the top, you’ll have time to view the best of Portland’s neighborhood and city lights, a rare view few get to experience in the evening.

Each tour is approximately 25 minutes long and includes time for enjoying the view of Portland at night at the top of the Observatory.

Tours leave promptly at ticketed time. Each tour time is capped at 10 people.

Note: the observatory is not heated. Please dress warmly for outdoor-like temperature.
