Information for teachers
To use this site in computer lab, it is best to download the entire site and mount it on your local server. Your lab administrator may be able to download the site using a utility such as Web Whacker.
If your school computer or computer lab does not have Internet access, we can email the files to you (total size approx. 500K), and you can transfer them onto a floppy disk.

You may have noticed that some of these pages were adopted from research projects by third grade students. We would be pleased to publish any student work. We can even include student art work if you will scan it and attach the file to an email. As work comes in we will set up a new section called "Student Writing."

Here is a fun and educational activity for one or two students at a computer or an entire class in a computer lab. This activity is an excellent introduction to Internet research skills.

Make copies for your students.The answers to all the questions on the scavenger hunt can be found on this site, but some of them are hard to find!
