Elegant Dinner for 8 with Candice Lee, French Culinary Chef
An Annual Favorite! Candice Lee, Graduate of the French Culinary Institute of NYC, with many years’ experience cooking superb meals for family and friends, invites you to bid on her elegant dinner for 8. In the 9 years she has offered her dinners as an auction item, she has witnessed many a “Babette’s Feast” moment. As a former interior designer, Candice’s home is a sublime setting for a delicious meal served by competent staff. There will be a choice of three menus presented for your selection as a group in advance of the dinner. The evening begins with a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres followed by a four-course meal with wine pairings. It never fails, “a good time is had by all!” Bon Appetite!
A Week on the “Quiet Side” of Mount Desert Island
Don’t miss out on a vacation at this renovated 1850’s farmhouse. Tastefully decorated and full of charm, this farmhouse is just up the lane from the Causeway into the town of Southwest Harbor, where you will find great shops and restaurants. Fourth of July Fireworks at the Portland Observatory
Arrive at 8 PM for a private tour of the Portland Observatory, hosted by Executive Director Hilary Bassett. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy lovely wines and desserts as you watch the Fireworks from atop this historic building. Your vantage point will give you unparalleled views of the festivities. This package also includes parking passes for on-street parking. Fireworks at the Portland Observatory for 6 people. Rain date is July 5.
Old Fashioned Family Fun Day
on a Private Ocean Side Farm
Bring your family to this quintessential Maine coastal farm for an afternoon of guided tours by bike or car (your choice!) You’ll visit four buildings at Spurwink and Ram Island Farms in Cape Elizabeth. Highlights include a Carol A.
