Join Landmarks to celebrate the creative rehabilitation of one of our first sites named a Place in Peril in 2012, the former Maine National Guard Armory in South Portland! View the elements that made this project so distinctive at our Annual Meeting during which we will announce 2017’s most endangered properties.
"These properties face serious threats. These threats include things like sale or transfer without any historic preservation protections, neglect or lack of maintenance, or lack of funding. These properties help define greater Portland. In every case, the properties we’ve identified are prominently visible or have such historic significance that we must advocate for their protection and preservation."
